A. because Ursan is boring as hell. I like the sound of my sword.

and

B. when I have no time to setup a good build for a hard mission/place OR when I'm in DoA. Still have a necro ready for Mallyx, but who's going to pick you up without this damned ursan skill ?

A. Never use(d) it (not counting the quest).

Throw it on your bar for instant killing, no need to mess around for half hour making a good bar when with one touch of the skill you have one there for you

If people would pick me in a group as for my Ritualist skill, I wont have the reason to use ursan. But even in the so-called "not-scrub" balanced group, there is still a lot of, well, uninformed.

This thread is just like the "do you use PvXWiki build" or something. And everyone is saying, "no, I changed one or two skills. So im being creative and inventive".

I used ursan when there is no PUG or Guildies around AND the mission need finishing. That's about 10% of the time. For almost everything else, 80% of the time, I used the cookie-cutter meta-build most balanced group requires of you. Ping your build, please.

For the remaining 10% of the time, I just spam, "Rit LFG for XXXX", or "WTB xxx" or "WTS xxx".

My take.

Try to kill Shiro with a full Ursan team, without Empathy or Spoil Victor or Blindness or something like that, you'll see how funny it is, specially when he starts spamming impossible odds.

Ursan it's just a skill that turns you into an armor-ignoring tank. Just that.

I choose C: I get all skills and choose the best ones depending on what I'm going to to in the party.

Ummmm AB+? ^^ I tend to play casters so I don't personally use it often (although sometimes just for fun when I want to rip, rend, and tear). But I do love having an Ursan on the team!

C: I run it when I know the monsters will be using lots of blind/blocking. Otherwise I have plenty of other builds that are more fun/effective.

I have used it once outside of quest. Did it for Urgoz this past weekend. I have to say it was fun watching hordes of monsters fall to us (All ursan/3 monk group). It took a little over 1 hour to finish. Do I want to do everything like that? No, but if another oppurtinity comes along like that, I would do it again.
